Please could someone explain how they find out / predict the viruses? How they chose which mix to use for the year? And how the viruses are named?

No idea about how they're named. For which viruses they include, I believe there pattern of flu viruses moving around the globe is fairly predictable, so by looking at which viruses are circulating in other countries at earlier times in the year they can predict what are likely to be the main viruses in the U.K.
