Ok... so... some of you might know from a previous thread that I went through a bad break-up after many years etc.

Feeling much better and I am ready to sort my life. I know, some of you might consider I am selfish. But after so many lies ... I d rather move on and make the best out of my life. AIBU?

So what I've done so far:
-bought shitloads of new clothes
-bought new make-up
-bought a membership for zumba & kangoo jumps
-cut my very long hair into a (long) bob & got a balayage

The worst part:
-I am eating loads
-I can't stop eating
-Eating just crap
-Not going out/isolating myself with books and tv series

So my question is: how do you sort your life after a terrible break-up when it's just you, on your own? What are your small tips& tricks to make your life better and to make yourself a better/happier person?

ThanksSmile

Well done on where you have got to so far. Can you set yourself little goals in terms of not eating crap or weight loss? So e.g. if you see a nice top or some make-up that you would like, set yourself the goal of losing 2 kg before buying it.

If you get out more and have some outside interests you will have less time to think about what is past and less of a temptation to stuff your face while sitting in front of the TV! So if you like books, what about joining a local book club? Or volunteering with the local library? Buying the membership for fitness is great but are you actually going?! Could you increase the number of times you go? What about your friends? Can you be honest with them and say that you are struggling after the break-up and would really like a couple of evenings out or maybe to be introduced to some of their other friends?

Also, seems obvious but make sure you are getting enough sleep and are hydrated. Everything seems easier when you are rested!
