To eat his dinner too?

Supposed to go to inlaws for dinner tonight but dd is unwell so mil kindly brought our dinner round. Dds dad works nights and is in bed. I'm ravenous having not eaten properly for nearly a week due to a tooth extraction. His dinner is on the side calling my name. He most likely won't eat it. It's only right I scoff the lot like the greedy pig I am to avoid it going in the bin right?

(Disclaimer... this is meant to be light hearted)

Eat it.

His mother never brought any food round. You have no idea what she's talking about Wink

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 06/12/2016 17:50

Do it

Bluntness100 · 06/12/2016 17:51

Depends, if he's not going to get up wanting his dinner, then go ahead, but if he is, then I'd eat something else,,😂

BertrandRussell · 06/12/2016 17:51

Is there anything for him to eat if he does wake up?

Admiralclingus · 06/12/2016 17:54

Oh there's plenty for him to eat. He will probably get up, demand coffee and then bugger off to work and buy himself a pizza or a big mac anyway. It's rude to leave it there sweating away under the clingfilm isn't it?

(Mine was flipping DELICIOUS)

Actually there may be a food safety reason behind having a second portion.

You were obviously checking it wasn't poisonous as yours tasted funny.

You've done him a favour.

WorraLiberty · 06/12/2016 17:57

He should have first refusal of his own dinner.

If he doesn't want it, you can re-heat it for yourself tomorrow.

Admiralclingus · 06/12/2016 18:01

Oh but worra he wasn't even going to come to his moms with us!

Ahhh shucking you have a point there. The same way he always "tests dds food for poison" right?
