Saw an advert last night for Loreal men and they were advertising 'tat cream' to keep your 'tats looking buff'. WTF... really!

Writerwannabe83 · 06/12/2016 10:49

What is a tat?

Wookiecookies · 06/12/2016 10:51

Was that Loreal? I have seen that advert but forgot about it due to wine consumption!

Thanks for jogging my memory Grin my DH and I did a definite WTF look at each other when it came on!

Wookiecookies · 06/12/2016 10:52

Oh... hold up, I think I might be thinking of a different ad... Confused

sneaks off to investigate

badtime · 06/12/2016 10:52

Surely the word 'buff' referring to appearance means either (of an object) beige or (of a person) muscular?

So that must mean it keeps your 'tats' looking beige?

(Yeah, they could mean buffed, like polished, but then they should use the right fucking word.)

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 06/12/2016 10:53

I have tattoo cream.

It's just Vaseline. Total Swizz.

staveleymum · 06/12/2016 10:53

It was referring to tattoo's but they called them 'tats' not tattoo's!

I just spat my coffee out looking at that wookie. How do they come up with these things.

OP posts:
Wookiecookies · 06/12/2016 10:58

Sorry OP, I dont mean to hijack your thread honest, but here is the ad link Grin

kali110 · 06/12/2016 10:59

wookie thanks for that Grin

stavely why is it for men? Confused

kali110 · 06/12/2016 11:00

Reading it it's to help stop sundamage ( which you can do that by using spf) and to help revive the colour but i'm unsure where this really would work.

Wookiecookies · 06/12/2016 11:01

Its all about 'tats' and 'balls' these days in the mens toiletry marketing departments apparently!

OydNeverDeclinesGin · 06/12/2016 11:06

I thought the down below advert was to raise awareness of testicluar cancer no?

TwoGunslingers · 06/12/2016 11:07

Grin too funny

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 06/12/2016 11:08

Men now desire they're balls to look smooth, pert and bouncy.

Fuck knows why. You can't polish a turd. Although you can, it was on Myth Busters. I'm just making a point.

ffon · 06/12/2016 11:09

Lots of beauty product producers are looking to increase their sales to men and so will be looking for crap ways to appeal to men.

ffon · 06/12/2016 11:11

It's feminism in action. Equal opportunities to spend cash on millions of products you didn't even know you needed.

pipsqueak25 · 06/12/2016 11:11

how could testicles or a penis EVER be made to look remotely attractive ??? yuk...now tats, that's another subject Smile

Wookiecookies · 06/12/2016 11:12

Its a real product OYD

Who knew that chafing nuts were an issue? Every day is a school day!

ffon · 06/12/2016 11:14

Blimey joffrey and pip those comments might be different if aimed at women's genitals.

OydNeverDeclinesGin · 06/12/2016 11:15

Noo, please tell me it isn't. I can't cope with that. Though I might get DP some for his stocking Grin
