I work part time, contact hours only 8 but I do 16 or 20 normally.
I took half term week off so end of October time. When I checked my wages as I do every Friday morning they had only paid me 1 hours pay -my union fee so I got £5 something.
Told my manager who said she would phone pay roll. A few days later she said she was waiting for them to get back to her.
Next pay comes round still not got it, told her again she said she would chase it up.
Im now on maternity leave I was told before I left she had spoken to them and I would get it this week, nope still nothing. I went into place of work and told her yet again. I also found payroll phone number myself and phoned them, I told her I've been on to my manager every week about this and she said my manager needs to sort it.
I don't know what to do now? They owe me at the very least 7 hours pay maybe more.

Have you spoken to your union? You have been paying fees and now you are on maternity leave you have bigger things to worry about and you need someone to fight your corner.

I would be raging. They have not paid you for two pay days straight. That is utterly unacceptable.

I think I will try union next. They just don't seem to care. My manager just rolls her eyes now when I bring it up. On my last day she said can you come in next week and I will let you know if we are paying you or if you will have to apply for maternity allowance. This was on my last day! I handed in matb1 ages ago. I got a letter on Tuesday from head office saying they will pay me luckily or that would have been something else to worry about.
