To ask for recommendations for sending a parcel to Canada?!

Hi all,
Trying to ship a parcel to Canada, weight no more than 2 kilos...am looking online for prices and the going rate seems to be around £50 - 70! Shock Aibu to think this is crazy?! Does anyone have any recommendations of companies they've used? Thanks so much!

Royal Mail gives cheaper prices than that
