Just watching the episode where they list all of her various jobs , wow! I hope she's getting NMW for those , as well as recognition from any significant others in her life for all her hard work. Don't the men of Peppa Pig land attempt her workload and fail? Grin (lighthearted !)

She also moonlights as Nanny Plum, don't forget!

Chippednailvarnishing · 30/11/2016 16:01

Well she got to meet the Queen, so she's clearly a glory seeker!

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/11/2016 16:22

Well she's a workaholic. And possibly a narcissist.

blitheringbuzzards1234 · 01/12/2016 12:10

I know that Miss Rabbit does loads of jobs and I'll bet many of them are minimum wage because they are considered to be lowly (ticket attendant/supermarket cashier etc) but I wonder if she pays NI?

Peppa Pig land couldn't keep going without her. Can she drive the school bus as well?

ClopySow · 01/12/2016 12:58

I thought this was going to be about a vibrator.

DonttouchthatLarry · 01/12/2016 13:00

ClopySow so did I Blush

OohMavis · 01/12/2016 13:09

It's all cash-in hand and she pays fuck-all tax, I'll bet you anything.

ElphabaTheGreen · 01/12/2016 13:09

She got an OBE (or similar - it wasn't specified) from the Queen. I think YABU to say her hard work goes unacknowledged.

OohMavis · 01/12/2016 13:13

Oh yeah she got a medal from the Queen didn't she?! Who was a human, for some reason.

DonaldStott · 01/12/2016 13:20

Bet she is a Tax dodger. The Queen loves'em.

I believe as a pp said, she is a narc and mrs rabbit really wants to go NC, but she can't because everywhere she goes, there's her millionaire narc sister, 'working' tax dodging

Fink · 01/12/2016 14:47

She's just really bad at keeping a job yet inexplicably gets re-employed by different people. The only explanation (other than bilocation or some in-joke about there being many Miss Rabbits but they all look the same) is that she keeps getting fired for being crap and has to get a new job every episode. Doesn't she completely fail the one time she has to do an actual job (look after her sister's kids)? I don't really remember, it's been several years since I've watched it.

ThornyBird · 01/12/2016 14:49

Never mind her overworking - have you seen the episode where she has a China shop and Mr Bull calls in? Grin

Or when Grandpa Pig is putting his chickens to bed and Mr Fox is lurking?

I might miss the Peppa Pig days Xmas Sad

ElphabaTheGreen · 01/12/2016 14:57

Doesn't she completely fail the one time she has to do an actual job (look after her sister's kids)?

Easy now. All of her jobs are quite legit (tourist tat on the moon doesn't sell itself, you know) and that one time she did have to look after her sister's DCs she was chair-bound with a sprained ankle.

Footinmouthasusual · 01/12/2016 15:02

Bugger thought about a rampant rabbit too Wink

Anatidae · 01/12/2016 15:08

Saw her flying a helicopter today...

We've just discovered peppa pig (on you tube, it's not on here) and it's hilarious. I've been chuckling at it all afternoon.

ElphabaTheGreen · 01/12/2016 15:11

Anatidae Ben and Holly are by the Peppa Pig lot and it's even better from a parent POV, IMO. They've nailed the 'gags for parents' in that one and, yes, they use the same voice actor for Nanny Plum in that as they do for Miss/Mrs Rabbit in Peppa.

Ledehe · 01/12/2016 15:16

Now i watched a Peppa the other day where Miss Rabbit was a cashier in the supermarket. She got a call on her phone for a taxi, left the till and taxied. Went back to the till at the end of the episode and the queue was huge. She just said sorry for your wait!

Does anyone else actually work in Peppa?

CheshireSplat · 01/12/2016 15:27

We've got a Peppa Pig book (a proper official one and everything) and I find it really upsetting, because it refers to Miss Rabbit (but it's clearly Mrs Rabbit because she's the mother Rebecca and Richard) and they talk about Grandma Pig. Grandma Pig, I ask you.

I think I should apply for a job as a Peppa Pig proofreader.

honkawonka · 01/12/2016 15:32

She does remind me of an Aldi cashier in the supermarket episodes , whizzing through the customers

Ilovenannyplum · 01/12/2016 15:37

I love Miss Rabbit. And Nanny Plum.

Hence the username Grin

Sara107 · 01/12/2016 20:34

Ledehe, yes there are lots of working cbaracters in Peppa. Mummy Pig works from home on a computer, and Daddy Pig does something in an office. Mr Bull works at digging up the road, and Zoe Zebras dad is the postman. Madame Gazelle runs the pre-school and Dr Brown Bear is a good old fashioned GP who does house calls, while Dr Hamster is a vet with a very odd accent.

shinynewusername · 02/12/2016 02:00

I can't help feeling that vet is an unwise career choice for a hamster.

WashAway · 02/12/2016 10:10

Cheshire, Miss Rabbit is Rebecca's aunt. Mrs Rabbit is Rebecca's sister. I think Miss Rabbit and Mrs. Rabbit are twins. We have the book where Miss Rabbit trips over the toys and twists her ankle while visiting her sister. All her susbtitutes do a horrible job of standing in for her various jobs.

CheshireSplat · 03/12/2016 21:41

Wash I know. Maybe I didn't explain it properly. The book confuses them. And invents Grandma Rabbit.

Rosieposy4 · 03/12/2016 21:43

You can tell my kids are older.
Thought this was going to be a thread about your vibrator and why it didn't get much use!
