Tonight the printer wouldn't work when dd1 was trying to print of her homework. Find out the problem is a tube of gold glitter glue which has somehow gotten inside and fucked up the rollers. Angry I don't know which dd did it - but dd1 didn't seem surprised.

Anyway - she is the only one who needs a printer, she has a £25 amazon voucher which she got for her birthday and had no plans for using it. Was I unreasonable to use the voucher to pay for most of a new printer? ? (She thinks I am - unsurprisingly! )

If you don't know for sure which DD did it then it seems a bit unfair unless you're going to take an equivalent amount from DD2.

If you don't know who did it,'it's unfair to punish one

If she did the damage to printer very reasonable. If another child did it unreasonable. Think you need to find out who put glitter glue in it.

Am pretty sure it was dd1- although she thinks aibu she hasn't protested much
