to tell the au pair she stinks?

Lovely au pair but she smells. Her clothes smell and her room reeks! How do I tell her that though?

Offer to do a wash for her? Is she from your country, any communication problems? Is she a bit shy to ask about using the washing machine? I know I was when I started my nanny job.

She manages to do the kids laundry, and I often specifically say 'the washing machine is free if you need to use it'. I always make sure it is empty on her work days or when she is babysitting so she is able to use it when she's alone in the house.
