I know they've done it before, I know the DM does it all the time and I know it's an internet forum but AIBU to still get fucked off when our threads get used by lazy tosser journalists? Arrrgh!

I do agree it's really annoying especially when they've picked a blatant troll thread to report on, but on the other hand nothing you post on the internet is private, everything is fair game to be reshared.

In fact I'd bet money on most of the controversial threads that end up in the papers are started by journos themselves.

There'll be loads on here saying that 'what do you expect? It's the internet, not a private forum'. I do see that point, but it's fucking lazy journalism.
