Aibu to expect a good luck message

My DD had a flute exam last week
She has been going to the same private teacher for 3 years at £16 per 30 mins
Aibu to expect either a text message from her teacher saying good luck or a follow up asking how she did?

The music teacher will have many students each year going into exams, so, whilst it's a big deal for your dd, it's just another day for the teacher.

We just tell ds' piano teacher how he did when we next see him in lesson.

My dad was a peripatetic music teacher. He taught minimum of about 15 kids a day. He'd wish them luck on the previous lesson And ask how it went on the next. To individually text every child that had an exam would have been a nightmare.
