I love mine. I have very straight, fine, chin length hair. It only looks nice when I use my BBH.
They do break down though, I'm on my second or third within maybe 4 years. I save my boots points and never spend them so when it breaks I can get a new one for free/ cheap.

DamsonGinIsMyThing · 18/11/2016 18:08

I love mine. I've got fine chin length hair and it really helps keep the volume at the roots. Piss easy to use as well.

peanutbutter2409 · 18/11/2016 18:08

I love mine and have got both sizes. I have fine hair but a LOT of it and hated having to dry my hair with a round brush as it took forever. Used to use Velcro rollers too to try and save time but I'd always have fluffy hair because of all the years I've coloured it too. The big hair saves time and makes my hair smoother too whilst getting volume in. It's worth every penny in my world!!

They are great a miracle even. Get one you will not be sorry.

tweedledid · 18/11/2016 18:09

I loved it but I've cut my hair off now.
It's on the put on eBay list that generally gets forgotten Hmm

ElsaMars · 18/11/2016 18:09

I've had mine about 2 months and I like it. Takes a bit of getting used to but it does make my hair much more smooth and bouncy (if I can be bothered to do it properly)

Freshprincess · 18/11/2016 18:09

I'm undecided on mine. I bought one last week. First time I used it I was I was impressed, hair was less frizzy and looked nice.

I've used it twice since and would say it was no better than a normal hairdryer.
I probably need to watch the tutorials to improve my technique. Am also clueless about 'product' so no idea what would make it look better.

Nospringflower · 18/11/2016 18:09

I've got one and I'm not sure about it! I have really thick hair that can be frizzy and I don't think it's really any better than drying my hair and using straighteners.

EatsShitAndLeaves · 18/11/2016 18:12

Agree with PP.

I have thick but fine hair. I love the big hair but I have to get my hair 95% dry first and I'm on my second one - they seem to have an 18 month life span in my experience.

My big change was actually the Dyson hairdryer. Bloody pricy, but very quick to dry my hair and with the smoothing noozle I find I'm using the BBH less than I used to (special occasions rather than every time I dry my hair).

So yes I do like the product but I'm not hugely impressed by its reliability.

Crispsheets · 18/11/2016 18:12

I was about to post the same thread!my hair needs some rootlift...it's at the base of neck length wise and looks great when I've blow-dried it.
I have enough Boots points too.

BitchyInnerMonologue · 18/11/2016 18:12

Love it. Naturally curly/wavy jaw length hair and it's great. Gives me almost straight hair, to which I can then either add a bit of curl cream to give a nice wave, or straighten.

It's much easier than using a hairdryer and brush combo!

Littleallovertheshop · 18/11/2016 18:28

I love mine - they were 25 quid on amazon for black Friday the other day. Not sure if still on offer

tobee · 19/11/2016 14:20

Pros:- styles well, makes my hair look "done" and volumized.
Cons:- have thin hair and quite a lot of hair gets pulled out.
Overall:- I use it a lot. Probably shouldn't as much.

MollyRedskirts · 19/11/2016 14:30

Pros - None.

Cons - Completely unsuitable for my very long, thick wavy/curly hair. I had to make tiny sections and do each section three or four times. No exaggeration, for the amount of hair I have, it would have taken me hours. I did some of the front, realised it was never going to work for me, then put it back in the box.

Bedsheets4knickers · 19/11/2016 21:19

Mine was great but if I used it 10-15 times before it broke etc ,I won't be replacing it

Notsoyummi · 20/11/2016 14:34

I have it, love it but yes it has broken twice. I buy from Amazon and send them back for free replacement. Mid length but thick hair. I think hair gets caught inside but can't see how.
