Why has he not got any trousers on

Um just started watching thing programme called Bing with a balck rabbit but what we can't seem to understand is why the pando keeps taking his trousers off and what are those little things are they there Nannys?

And first I thought dd didn't have it quite right but we just watched another one today and the little thing has taken off pandos pants and folded them up there in the park 🙁😳😅

There are many theories about Bing.

My favourite being that it is in fact some kind of purgatory and the carers (Flop, Amma, etc) are tortured souls who are damned to care for annoying toddlers for all eternity!

Oh right we only just started watching it and the whole thing is very odd I thought the little lemming things were his parents then oops no maybe nanny possibly moral guides like Jimmy cricket

But dd 3 is getting quite exsersied about people wearing clothing in the park she says you can only have your bottom out at home lol

Not watched Bing but is it like Donald Duck never wearing trousers but wearing a towel when he gets out of the bath?

No but he has them on and he then takes then of and gives them to the lemming thing to fold up

If your starting off trouser less then fair play but he has them on and just wanders around in his pants often with the lemming thing folding them up

But he has pants on underneath no one else removes there clothing is he hot just tweeted the Bing people because it's nuts 😬👖

I don't know about Bing as I have never watched it but I'm pretty sure the writer/creator popped up on a thread a couple of years ago after (if I remember correctly) a mother was trying to find her child's bing toy after he lost it. Maybe he is still around to ask :)

I think the accepted theory is that Bing and Pando are toddlers, doing typical toddler shit like taking their trousers off when they feel like it. Nothing sinister or deep.

I'm just glad it's not a 'thing' with all cartoons - I'm not sure I could handle Peter Griffin removing his kecks on a regular basis. (I have seen him naked a couple of times, though )

Bungle on Rainbow rarely wore clothes but always wore striped pajamas and a nightgown.

Winnie Pooh is also guilty of not covering his nether regions. 😷

If you think that is weird, try Boj.

Every character in Boj wears clothes (including all his friends of the same age, and his parents of the same species).

Boj does not appear to wear any clothing at all. Despite being primary-school age. No-body seems to think this is strange, even in the episodes where clothing comes up in conversation.

As soon as I saw the title of this thread I knew it would be about Pando!

We emailed the author. His reply regarding Flop/Amma ect was that they are meant to be flexible to appeal to any kind of family as not everyone has the 'standard' of mummy, daddy, 2.5 kids. So flop could be daddy or grandad or uncle for example. They are smaller than the kids as kids see themselves as the centre of the world.

This was the reply from Cbeebies when someone asked on their FB page:

Hi Rebecca, Pando, like many children, likes the freedom of not wearing too many clothes. That's why you will often find him in his pants and t-shirt. And if he does wear his shorts then as soon as he wants to do something active, off they come! :-) CBeebies Team
