I just saw this on a FB selling page. I've no idea what it is, or why anyone would want one, but it is handmade after all!

Share your festive tat!

mrs Are those the beakers that you can buy in Poundland in sets of five? I don't know what to say....

You have to admire the gall....

Florin · 08/11/2016 19:01

I was about to start this the other day. Can I give you the sweetie wreath which she hasn't even finished priced when pictured. It is a steal at £22 Shock or these really lovely custom made batman light up jars-I am sure my 4 year old would do a more professional job!

Grin. I love this thread already! The Batman jar is splendid!

what the fuck were they thinking

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 08/11/2016 19:10

I also like how they strategically placed the Batman lamp on the ached Evans guilty verdict. Nice, Christmassy touch, there...

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 08/11/2016 19:10

Why the fuck don't people have a cursory tidy before taking pictures?! Why would you picture your gift right in front of the draining rack, or resting near a pile of receipts???

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 08/11/2016 19:11

Ched Evans, even Blush

lauryloo · 08/11/2016 19:13

I always wonder who buys these

anyname123 · 08/11/2016 19:19

laury my parents got DD a reindeer like that, and she fucking loves it. It sits in our hallway at Christmas, and she's on the thing all the time.

I hang my head in MN shame for owning it.

TonyGunk · 08/11/2016 19:25

Denim. Always Christmassy.

I bet John is going to love his Bewitched themed stocking.

This Poundland cups are amazing 😂

BippityBoppityBullshit · 08/11/2016 19:28

The thing is these Facebook sellers never bother to investigate the rules, be it licensing (eg Batman) or food regs. I run my own business and am trying to introduce a reed diffuser product but its taking bloody ages to work through the associated rules and regs. Still I'd rather that than injure someone! The pricing is always hilarious too. They see something online and think 'I could knock that off' and charge the same amount or worse in some cases undercut. Except they use poor materials, and poor skills and don't have to factor in premises, insurance, wages, tax, vat, commission, ni, and all the other bits that go into professional retailers pricing algorithms.

Lemonsole · 08/11/2016 19:28

Somebody had spammed our running group with ads for their "elf on a shelf" packs on eBay. A bag of tat. Of crap for e on the s ideas. For £8.99. Apparently a vital help for busy mums.

Well, don't do blardy elf on the poxy shelf, then.

Ha! The scrabble decs 'can do any name...even if I don't have the letters'.

Quite like the reindeer mind

BippityBoppityBullshit · 08/11/2016 19:46

Oh I got so into my rant I forgot to add mine... £3 for these bargains (probably falling foul of those regulations I mentioned)
