To sit on the loo till my arse goes numb?

Just been having a quiet half hour fantasy house shopping and a quick look at mumsnet and when I tried to get up my arse had gone numb and loads of pin and needles. AIBU to find that it's the only place in our house to find some peace and quiet? On a Sunday afternoon that is - on week days there is an interactive audience...

Absolutely YANBU. I am doing exactly the same thing right now.

This made me laugh out loud.

Namechangenurseryconcerns · 06/11/2016 21:33

It puts you at higher risk of piles apparently!

Done this and only noticed when I realised I had a very very cold bum Grin

That's what I do, but the little buggers keep trying to come in, lol!!!

My favourite 20 mins of the day, teenager comes home from school- please watch your bro's whilst I nip to the toilet? Bliss!!! can catch up on facebook without feeling guilty for staring at my phone when I should be nurturing little minds... I sometimes take a hot cup of tea with me 😃😃😃

I'm here right now too Grin

My bed is calling me but I can't be bothered to move....

I can't decide which is worse - the pins and needles or the decorative red stripes on my thighs where I rest my forearms.

Yes, yes, dear, I'll be out in a minute...

A long time ago I was so into my book I sat on the loo for a good half hour, the seat was imprinted on to my thighs. No one in my house batted an eyelid. Can't remember the book but it was hardback and yellow.

Yes to the piles risk; something about the restriction to blood supply?

FatOldBag · 07/11/2016 22:08
