All morning dp has been waiting for the postman. He said he's got me a present and I stupidly got really exacired. He used to do it a lot before dd, just putting thought and effort into something little.
It's came, it's a bloody dummy clip!! Wtf!?

I'm really upset.

Iv actually cried. And apparently I'm ungrateful. I feel so unappreciated as it is, and clearly just a mum now.how is that a present for me? 😪

How is that a present for you and not your daughter?

I don't understand, do you need a dummy clip?

Hatade16 · 02/11/2016 15:22

We were looking at them because dd keeps dropping her dummy.

Exactly! How is it a present for me? 😒

How is that a present for you and why should you be 'grateful' for it? Is it designer / gold-plated & ruby encrusted?

Buy him something equally naff like a packet of stuffing mix or some rawl plugs & see how back-bendingly grateful he is.

You don't need to get a grip. You have every right to be upset as that is not a present for you. Buy him a toilet brush tomorrow and tell him he's ungrateful if he doesn't like it.
