To buy this duvet cover?

Shopping online for a number of things we really need, including a duvet cover. My DP doesn't care much about home decor, as long as it is reasonable tasteful.
So AIBU to buy this duvet cover Grin

Do you like it? Can you afford it?

Do you really expect anyone to tell you you're unreasonable for buying a duvet cover you like and can pay for? Confused

MrsHathaway · 01/11/2016 14:02

I don't think Purple clicked through.

Ywbvvvvu to buy that monstrosity.

takesnoprisoners · 01/11/2016 14:02

I am hoping that you are joking. :)

Bluntness100 · 01/11/2016 14:02

Is it because it's quite childish? Personally I have white linen on all the beds, so everyone is different, some think that's dull, If you like it and he doesn't care, buy it. Personally I would only put it on a kids / teenagers bed.

brasty · 01/11/2016 14:03

I am joking. The duvet cover is horrendous.
But DP did say he didn't care what duvet cover I bought Grin

MummyLikesWrapMusic · 01/11/2016 14:10

Oh that's awful!

Do ittttt Grin

backtowork2015 · 01/11/2016 14:11

Apparently it's a hot product and 5 already bought today so perhaps we are in the minority in thinking how utterly unstylish it is

ThoraGruntwhistle · 01/11/2016 14:12

Oh good grief, that's dreadful.

SistersOfPercy · 01/11/2016 14:14

Is it just me that doesn't get the whole 'christmas duvet' thing? They are everywhere at the minute and most are as tacky as Anoushka and her Polar bear.
Maybe I'm just bah humbug.

That said, if I could find a Star Wars one in king size I'd buy it.

brasty · 01/11/2016 14:20

The cow one is quite fun actually.

we were in homebase the other day (me and DS1 - 9) They had a bargain corner and I asked him if he'd like a new duvet cover (pointing at the nice subtle grey one with stars on it) He chose this instead :)

52% Polyester too. It would be beautifully sweaty and get nice and bobbly wash after wash.

00100001 · 01/11/2016 14:36

Get this one!

00100001 · 01/11/2016 14:37

TheMasterMurderedMargarita · 01/11/2016 14:39

Mooooove closer....mooove your body real close Grin

FoxesOnSocks · 01/11/2016 14:39

The price of the skull one!!!

PurpleDaisies · 01/11/2016 14:39

I don't think Purple clicked through

I did...it wasn't my taste but I didn't think it was bad enough to have triggered my joke thread alert. Blush

I thought this was one of those weird threads where people ask permission to do perfectly normal things like go to the cinema alone.

PurpleDaisies · 01/11/2016 14:40

Oh that skull one!

Tangfastics · 01/11/2016 14:40

Nah, I'd spend it on a spa day instead.

00100001 · 01/11/2016 14:43

The skull one is KingSize you know... £79 well spent! Wink
