What does it mean?

I can't figure out why I sometimes manage to type it too!

I think it's just a glitch that happens when people use quote symbols

HoneyDragon · 31/10/2016 00:47

I just opened this to find out what you'd put in quote marks st the title was glitched.

Then realised you'd put the glitch in the title. Now I feel weird.Grin

I've noticed it happens when I do a Google search.

For some reason &amp gets added on to the end of the word I've typed.

I thought it was wierd at first then noticed it on here too!

It rarely has anything to do with quotations.

The ampersand (&) has a special use in code (HTML) so when writing you use &amp which then displays only the ampersand.

Read more about unknown entity section errors if you'd like.

It's usually due to badly coded sites auto-generating links. Browsers are rarely to blame as they've matured and even Edge works quite well.

""""" < these are to blame!
