Wondered the same. Could do with a general car/motors page (unless there is one I haven't found?).

I think it might be a front for mumsnet's dodgy crime/mafia side. All the ford stuff is really a code language for their dealings.

I don't think it's about cars at all. Did you look at any threads in the topic?

A few years ago there were various testing things done by mumsnetters - some people got to test drive cars for a number of weeks and there was an event at Donington (I went to that one).

Anyone know about the Ford SMax or a Grand CMax? Would you recommend either and can you fit 3 car seats across the back row?

Yes three car seats fit easily in the S-max. We have a infant seat, a erf seat and a high back booster in ours.
