To ask if anyone has done the ACA e-assessments recently?

And to ask how similar the questions are compared to the published QBs? Killing myself trying to prepare for first three (accounting, assurance, tax) in one week. Have been told that the majority of the qs are from the QBs though, can anyone confirm please?!?

Have you tried putting this question on accountingweb (my other favourite website) - you might get more response.

I am an ACA support tutor and am pretty good at helping students understand how to answer the questions from the QBs. Have to admit I don't know whether they do use questions from the QBs although I suspect they don't. Long form questions for accounting and tax wouldn't be the same anyway.

When are you sitting them?

Sitting them next week - thanks. No I assume for the long form questions they'll be different but have heard from others that 85% of the questions are based on the QBs so not word for word the same but broadly similar.

I'd say the questions will be broadly similar. They do like to throw in things to try and trick you a bit which I think is mean of them.

There's students doing accounting and tax today who've had lots of queries for us. Has been a busy day

They're doing their exams on Monday that should be.
