Why when I have a poo does it veer dramatically to one side (always the same side) in the toilet, then I have to spend ages cleaning it when if I could get a nice central aim the problem would not be evident? Am I alone in my bent bum?

It's a more common problem, than the media let on OP. You're not alone.

totally natural, every bum i've ever seen - ex nurse - not weirdo is different, unless you are straining, passing blood or in extreme discomfort i wouldn't worry. otherwise speak to pharmacist or gp for advice.
