Dd is really into all things space and stars. It's always been something she has wanted and has asked for one for Christmas. She is almost 8 so obviously don't want to buy anything ridiculously expensive but would like something that's actually worth buying and she can see things well with.
I have no idea where to start. Anyone offer any advice on which one might be best suited?

I bought one from the torygraph reduced from over £200 to 69 quid, took a little while to assemble but is quite good. Aldi/ lidl also do them occasionally

We bought an Infinity 76 for our equally space mad DD last Christmas. She's 5 though so may be a little basic for your requirements. We',3 been really pleased - great for looking at the moon - and it's design means it's easy to adjust we also use it to look at leaves on trees at the end of the garden
