My grannie fell out with all her family. I never met them.

I have a great great aunt. My dads great aunt. She is 98. Her daughter found me on Facebook.

My son looks like their side of the family.

Mind. Blown.

How exciting, are you going to meet them?

Yes. Me and my dad are going to organise to visit. I'm excited beyond belief

Genes are amazingly powerful. I saw a picture once that I thought was my cousin in one of those theme park pictures where you dress in period costume and are photographed in sepia. It was my great-granny aged about 14. She was so beautiful - it was hard to reconcile that blonde haired girl with the crotchety old boot that used to terrify me.

I swear. He's so like them it's freaky.
