To think there was some truth in Anne Robinson's programme on parenting?

Ok the examples of parenting styles were rather extreme but I think the overall message rang true. We all fall for this right and wrong idea of parenting when we all have our own ways of doing it, we are all muddling through and all the gimmicks, labels and theories just complicate matters.

What was the over all message?

To me it just highlighted different parenting styles to laugh at

That there is no right or wrong. That a lot of these theories are more about the parent than the child.
