To "leave it and see" wrt stuff happening to dd in Reception?

She started two and a half weeks ago and went to their preschool too.

Last week she came home with a cut on her finger - a girl pressed her finger down on a staple and wiggled it around and it hurt

Today - a boy pushed her over and kicked her mouth.

My mum did pick up however I will be doing it on Monday. Shall I "leave it and see" whether the teacher comes to me? Or should I email the teacher this evening?

I know there is often some "settling in" in new school years and don't want to be the mum that kicks off about everything, but I would like to be told when stuff like this happens. My mum didn't get a handover with teacher as she picked dd up from the after school class which isn't run by the teaching staff

Just give school ring and ask if teacher can ring you back as you would like to have a chat about dc. Just sat what you said on here and that your a little concerned.

You won't be kicking off, just asking for the teacher to keep a special eye on her.
