Is my office too bright?

I started a temp new job today, in a new building where the furniture is white, the walls are white and the windows are floor to ceiling - i've had a headache all day.... it seems very bright in there, but not sure anyone else has a problem?

is it likely the building is too bright? or am i being a prima donna?

Have you been to the opticians recently?

My eyes become sensitive to brightness when I have a migraine coming on, might it be something like that?

Well this is awkward.

It's quite possible the environment is too bright, yes. I work from home and I leave most of the blinds shut when working on the computer - I end up really straining my eyes otherwise, to the extent that I can't actually focus at all and I feel like I'm going cross-eyed (which I probably am).

was about to say "not been to the opticians for ages" but then remembered i started on contact lenses and have regular check ups, last one a few months ago

i'll see how i go tomorrow, but my head still aches now!

Yes I have this problem at work too. No magic solution though sadly!
