I was in GPs surgery this morning, he'd gone away so a stand in doctor <if that's the correct term) saw me. She did a blood test and then said she was arranging X-rays and said I'd probably need a minor op.As I was leaving I just asked if she could tell me if the op was done as a day case, she said yes,. I then asked if it would be done at my local hospital. She had the door open and kind of gently pushed me through and said "bye" in a kind of long drawn out way. [shock] My first thought was "well that's shut me up", but what do you all think, was she being a bit rude? Btw there weren't any more patients to see, I'm just wondering if she just felt impatient with me for asking a couple of questions.
