Dd 12 has not stopped talking ALL day, stupid inane comments or discussions, most of which I have nodded and 'yes dear'ed all the way through.... is gagging child abuse? Would ear plugs be very obvious??

know the feeling, my dd2 gets on a subject and she will not let it go, gets really keen and i have to hear ALL the details [usually game related], was in the loo and she was standing outside the door still prattling !
we spend so much time encouraging them to talk then..... Grin.
ear plugs are quite acceptable, gag not so much.
