I frequently hear friends and colleagues declaring that RC schools in Scotland are outdated and the cause of sectarianism. The thing is, they were set up because other schools refused to teach children of catholics unless they renounced their faith.
How is it ok to exclude a group of people from accessing education, then when they set up their own schools, to blame those schools for segregation? I feel beaten by the regular open season...
Do they have the same constant criticism in England?
