On Bank Holiday weekend I received some slightly upsetting news that made me feel a bit sad - relationship related. I have also put on a lot of weight over the summer and looking in the mirror on 28th August I looked very fat - I am probably close to being obese if I wasn't there already. I decided that I really couldn't afford to gain any more weight - so on Sunday 28th August I started a very low calorie diet and exercise programme. I have adhered to it strictly - and have slightly upped the exercise level this week. Anyway, the bottom line is I'm feeling so much better already and although I'm still overweight, the contours of my body have completely changed and I've made real progress - I haven't weighed myself but feel I've definitely lost weight and just feel so much fitter. So, in short - what a difference 12 days makes!!
