To put a note in my son's lunchbox?

My son has his 11+ tomorrow. AIBU to put a little note in his lunchbox to say how proud we are of him. I know he tests span over the day so he'd see it half way through. I don't want to embarrass him!

Do it. It's a lovely thoughtful idea which he will remember.

Good luck to your DS Thanks

As for your question, absolutely no-one here can answer it.

Only you know your son.

I would but I'd hide it at the bottom so not immediately obvious/falls out.

Did you mean to post in Chat and AIBU, OP?

It seems like unnecessary pressure.

Just put his favourite crisps in if you want him to know you're thinking of him.

I agree. Put a treat in there (if the school allows it) and keep the soppiness for the morning and after school. If you're asking there's a chance he'll be embarrassed and it's not worth it - especially when he's got tests.

I sometimes put notes in my dc lunch boxes but I put jokes in - usually terrible ones - I know it makes them smile and they'll know I've thought of them.
