Instant Pot -AIBU or is DH?

I really want to get an Instant Pot (pressure cooker gadget). I hear how much is transformed their lives by friends online and I have a perfect spot for it on my kitchen counter.....but DH days is another gadget that won't get used, it all tastes the same, just put it in the oven for 8 hours, what's the big deal?

Arrgghh - nothing except I seem to downs hours cooking dinners that nobody particularly liked unless it's covered in orange breadcrumbs and made in a factory!!

AIBU to think an Instant Pot will change my life???

I have a pressure cooker and it's used daily. Totally different from a slow cooker.

Definitely. Mine has changed my life. I can't put into words how much I love it, that's how useful it is. We are vegetarians/vegans and it's really good for beans etc, it makes beautiful rice and steams vegetables perfectly. I would imagine it's even more versatile if you use it for meat.

Just to add, my DH was also against yet another appliance, but unlike the pannini press/smoothie maker/bread maker/waffle iron/deep fryer, this one gets used every single time I cook.
