I don't get why people are so upset about it.

I love animals. I would've been one of the first condemning it but it was a choice between a child or an animal. Easy choice.

I think the Harambe memes are a satire on people's perceived overreaction to the animal's death.

Like, "Did Harambe die in vain?" kind of thing.
