To ask how to thank all these people?!

Around a week and a half ago I found out dp has been cheating. I ended the relationship. We have an 18 month old also.

Obviously it's been an awful time. But I've found myself so overwhelmed by all the kindness I have been shown. All my friends and family have kept me strong and stopped me breaking down. Even colleagues have been so unbelievably kind and generous. I've had more supportive words and messages than I can count. A friend offered me the top floor of her house if I needed it! When working a late shift a colleague dropped in and brought me a chinese! So many people have told me how strong I am and reassured me I will get through this.

It has made me see that I will never be alone. I am so grateful for every kind word said to me. It has also restored my belief that people, on the whole, are good. I am an incredibly lucky person.

How can I possibly express my gratitude to them all?!

In the future, when you have ability and capacity to do so, pass it forward. People aren't doing this to be thanked, they do it because they care about you.

Good luck with your new life!

Just say thank you. Glad you're being looked after.

Show your gratitude by keeping on accepting their help and support, for now. It's really, really early days. Don't start feeling awkward about having so much help and declining offers of support.

It actually helps people to offer support to those they care about. Nothing worse than seeing someone hurting and not being able to help.

And YY to paying to forward in the future.

Just say thank you. Whenever I've helped someone a genuine thank you is much more appreciated than some carefully concocted display of gratitude.

Sorry this has happened to you OP Thanks

Just say thank you. That will be enough.

Save any extra thanks for those who stick with you for the long haul, as it's early days yet.

Thanks everyone!
I will definitely be paying it forward and always say thank you for any kindness shown.
I just never expected people to care so much!
