To think this woman should not be allowed to continue teaching

After she:

There are enough problems with bullying in schools without putting a teacher who is a bully back in the classroom! She obviously has anger problems. If her colleagues were scared of her how would a child feel? I may be biased because I was bullied at school, including by a teacher, but it seems inappropriate to me.

If you read through the full hearing made by the National College it gives a far more measured explanation and puts some of the above into context:

I think we should put her on trial here and settle the matter with a vote in a few hours' time.

If anyone has a story about a nasty teacher they once knew they can give it in evidence now.

Noonesfool · 17/08/2016 09:47

Ooh, can I add that teachers also get too many holidays and whine too much about the workload?

Also, they don't keep parents informed enough, or they call parents in too much.

Amd they don't deal with behaviour. Or they are too harsh.
🙄

I don't have a problem with teachers. I know it's a stressful job. I really feel for the teachers working for her who must have been very stressed as she threatened them!

I just don't think it's acceptable to threaten to punch a colleagues face in.

I don't think that saying one individual isn't fit to teach should be construed as attacking the whole profession, there are bad apples in every bunch.

As a teacher I'd like to see more people like this dealt with. I don't think she should be in a classroom. IME we all know these types and too often they are allowed to get away with bullying staff and students. Dealing with this sort of people is the worst part of my job by a long margin. Luckily my HT is fab but every largeish school seems to have one or two of these "I tell it like it is and if anyone doesn't like it then tough" types. My job would be much easier without them.

DD's old Head is similar. Thankfully, she's off to College.

I felt like I was reading Matilda

My ex boss head teacher was just like this. A lot of bullying in the staff room. Let's not pretend it doesn't happen.
