To think if you see someone sitting on a tree stump

You don't start making your children sit/stand behind you for a photo opportunity and then all start gathering there for a family photo?

I have recurring back problems and can't sit on the floor. So now I'm sitting on the picnic table they've also taken over and they're moving back and giving me "looks" and tutting.

Do you look famous?

DesolateWaist · 13/08/2016 17:10

Are you a gnome or fairy?

HateSummer · 13/08/2016 17:10

No. I had my back to them. Confused

OP posts:
Oysterbabe · 13/08/2016 17:11

Eh?

NotTodaySatan · 13/08/2016 17:11

Did they try to take your lucky charms OP?

Blerg · 13/08/2016 17:11

Wtf? I was thinking fairy or pixie too!

Paintedhandprints · 13/08/2016 17:13

Is it it a famous landmark for some reason? Otherwise they are rude twats. Tell them to jog on!

splendide · 13/08/2016 17:13

So they took a picture with your back in the frame and in retaliation you went and sat at their picnic table?

acasualobserver · 13/08/2016 17:15

I think they knew about your recurring back problems and did it deliberately.

AnyFucker · 13/08/2016 17:15

I don't really understand this

TheNaze73 · 13/08/2016 17:16

WTAF?

HateSummer · 13/08/2016 17:16

No I'm a human being 😁

I sat on the floor for a bit and could feel my back going so their picnic bench was empty and I went and sat there. Not really retaliation. But I'm not happy about my backside being in at least one of their pictures Angry

ilovesooty · 13/08/2016 17:18

I don't understand it either.

Justanothernumber2 · 13/08/2016 17:19

It is funny. I think I get what OP means but it sounds like they were treating her like a photo opportunity!

Babyzoo · 13/08/2016 17:22

So they took a photograph near you?

HateSummer · 13/08/2016 17:22

They're all huffing around me. I might get up.

OP posts:
HateSummer · 13/08/2016 17:24

They took a photo right behind me! Like children were right up on my back on a tree stump. They didn't say excuse me. Just started taking pictures of them and family with my back facing them Confused

OP posts:
RJnomore1 · 13/08/2016 17:24

Op, there is only one thing to be done.
Fart.
Loudly.
Preferably with a look of satisfaction on your face and one leg raised. They will soon move on.

Babyzoo · 13/08/2016 17:26

Oh I see, a bit like when people get really close to you in a queue.

I usually accidentally elbow them.

Justanothernumber2 · 13/08/2016 17:27

RJ Grin

Do it, OP!

ReginaBlitz · 13/08/2016 17:29

Should have flipped the bird behind your back,, sure that one wouldn't be going in the family album.

Willyorwonte · 13/08/2016 17:29

Ohhhhhh I reckon you look like someone famous. Smile and say cheese loudly.

HawkingsMead · 13/08/2016 17:30

Was there nothing more photogenic than your backside around them? How very odd. Seems more weird than rude.

But do try farting.

HateSummer · 13/08/2016 17:31

They're making pa comments:
"Sit there if you have space"...it's funny they're only making pa comments in English.

I'm getting up now. My children have gone to the other side of the park.

OP posts:
EweAreHere · 13/08/2016 17:34

It sounds like they were trying to take the space you were already occupying. Rudely. Just ignore them.
