To have issues with bubbles in my sink?

It actually makes me go into a little rage if DP has done dishes and doesn't rinse the sink out afterwards.

Even the tiniest little bit of bubbles left makes me angry, think I'm a little bit ocd actually haha.

Surely I'm not alone?

Ocd isn't funny.

Hth.

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 17:15

Where in there did I say ocd is funny?

OP posts:
mrsfuzzy · 07/08/2016 17:15

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 17:16

Ah how cute is that name for a Guinea pig :)
Would love one of those but think my dog would eat it Grin

"Think I'm a little bit ocd actually haha"

mrsfuzzy · 07/08/2016 17:32

mummy your dog wouldn't want to eat her, she's long coated and reminds me of donald trumps hair on legs [no, seriously] sometimes it's difficult to know which end is which unless you offer a carrot to one end and it doesn't respond.

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 17:37

That doesn't say ocd is funny though,
That is me laughing at my own ways..not in any way at anyone else who has ocd.

Honestly there's always one, who picks through something you post to try and look for things that aren't there.

OP posts:
MiddleClassProblem · 07/08/2016 17:40

My DH does this in both bath and sink. Drives me mad.

UnusualPolarBear · 07/08/2016 17:42

I didn't pick through it, it jumped out at me. Fine, you didn't mean it like that, so I'll leave it. Just sick of people making a joke of ocd, when it's really, really not one.

Amelie10 · 07/08/2016 17:44

Honestly there's always one, who picks through something you post to try and look for things that aren't there.

Ignore, there's always one.

Love the name bubbles for a Guinea pig! DH does the same too!

mrsfuzzy · 07/08/2016 17:47

thank you for the compliment lovely humans, love miss bubbles g.pig xx

LifeIsGoodish · 07/08/2016 17:59

TBF there are probably things you do that rub him up the wrong way. A bit of give-and-take, maybe? None of us is perfect, etc etc.

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 18:32

Oh wow..this was meant as a lighthearted thread.

In no way have I laughed at people with ocd, and my post certainly didn't imply that, I was laughing at myself.

Secondly I have not said I'm perfect, I'm far from it, it was a joke.

People maybe need to lighten up a bit.

OP posts:
ilovesooty · 07/08/2016 18:36

People don't need to "lighten up"
People need to stop saying things like "a little bit OCD" (with or without the ha ha)

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 18:38

But I am a little bit ocd.
That was a fact
I added the haha because I choose to look at it like that and not in a serious way which is my decision.

I wasn't laughing at people with ocd as I know it can be quite extreme in some people just happens to not be that extreme with me.

Honestly go have a drink or something. Wine

OP posts:
ilovesooty · 07/08/2016 18:47

You obviously don't get it.

ocduk.org/whats-not-OCD

Educate yourself.

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 18:50

I think you need to stop you know nothing about me except one thing I've said about bubbles in my sink.
I will not justify myself to a complete stranger.
you can't tell me whether I do or don't have ocd based on one post I've put on here.
Thank you though very informative.

OP posts:
UnusualPolarBear · 07/08/2016 19:12

To be fair to Ilovesooty, I've never met someone who actually has ocd or knows anything about how damaging it can be who would say 'I'm a little bit ocd'.

For a start, a person isn't ocd , a person has it...

SalemSaberhagen · 07/08/2016 19:15

You also said that you think you are a little bit OCD. Think is not fact.

TheGruffaloMother · 07/08/2016 19:15

What the fuck does 'a little bit' OCD mean?? You were diagnosed with OCD but now you're asking if it's unreasonable to have this minor thing that irritates you?

BuonoEstente · 07/08/2016 19:17

Actual lol at "educate yourself". I think most people know how devastating genuine ocd can be and the op obviously didn't mean to cause any offence.

TheGruffaloMother · 07/08/2016 19:17

But why would you ask if you're BU if the behaviour is actually part of OCD?

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 19:18

Ok guys not even gonna argue with none of u anymore.

This thread wasn't "do I or don't I have ocd"

So I refuse to discuss that matter any further.

Thanks though, nice to know you all care so much Grin

OP posts:
lollipop28 · 07/08/2016 19:18

That's seriously fucking offensive to me someone with OCD. And I don't need to lighten up or have a drink thanks.

mummytofourbabies · 07/08/2016 19:21

Speak about over reaction
Offensive??
