To think this is just weird for a dogs muzzle?

I've been following the dog Hank in Ireland. Someone posted this on the Save Hank page. We have dogs and I just think this is awful. Why would someone choose to use use this muzzle on a dog?

That's idiotic of the poster. Given the hoops the owners have jumped through, putting that on him would not be sensible. A plain muzzle, opposite colour to the dog's muzzle so good and obvious is what is needed.

feralgoat In the UK just looking it is enough. Whether a dog is considered a pitbull type is determined by their appearance not DNA. The council said that, “although assessed by an appropriate expert to be a pitbull terrier type,” Hank would be able to return to his owners provided they followed certain conditions. If a dog considered to be a pitbull type is legally exempted, they must be muzzled at all times in public. I know someone who owns an exempted pitbull and the dog even has to be muzzled in the car, even though he's soft as a brush. I believe it's wrong that the law punishes dogs who have done nothing wrong based on their appearance.

I've seen this on steampunk artists' website. Something like a Halloween werewolf outfit for a dog.
Woudn't take mine to park we ting it though.
