Sorry but keeping with the theme in general...a baby asleep in its cot- leave it alone alseep with nearly twelve year old sibling or not?

Do you mean alone in the room, adult downstairs or alone in the building, no adult?

YWBVVVU to do the latter, IMO.

Well, I never did it with mine.

But, a baby who can't climb asleep in a cot, with nothing electrical plugged in or on, there's probably less risk then leaving them at 8/9/10. What is the risk? No fires if nothing plugged in/ burglar isn't going to take the baby. So, the only risk is a paedophile/kidnapper breaking in - fairly unlikely.

A friend of mine used to leave her baby twins asleep in their cots, unplug everything, then pop to the shops.

Or the baby waking up distressed...

Why would you do it?

Gbean · 28/07/2016 22:37

Don't be silly.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 28/07/2016 22:42

Leave it where? How long for? Is twelve year old sibling staying with baby?

Flickers · 28/07/2016 22:43

Sigh.

cexuwaleozbu · 28/07/2016 22:55

But why did you need two identical threads?

CraftyPenguin · 28/07/2016 22:56

Again?
