For those of you who remember my DD's accident almost 2 years ago.

I so appreciate the advice I was given on my last thread and reread it sometimes. Because of it I think I was finally able to address the situation in a way that my mum could accept. I've still never 'had it out' with them and I doubt I ever will. But the stairs are being fixed. Just wanted to let you know.

Yes I remember that too, that was one of the first posts I read on Mumsnet.
Glad you got it sorted!

SquinkiesRule · 25/07/2016 08:17

Thank goodness for that.

I remember your thread, and am glad that this is finally being resolved. Hope your DD is doing well Smile

RhiWrites · 25/07/2016 12:50

How did you manage to address it?

lilydaisyrose · 25/07/2016 13:41

Is there a link to your previous thread?

SilverDragonfly1 · 25/07/2016 14:10

I remember your thread. Really difficult situation, trying not to upset very sensitive parents while being so upset yourself! Glad things have finally been sorted.

I remember a thread after it happened, and I have wondered occasionally how you are. Glad that this is finally being sorted - even if it doesn't resolve other issues, at least you will feel easier about physical safety for your family (and I think there were other young children in the wider family?).
