How much for wedding pressie if not attending.

I have known the person in question for 20 years but only see her about once a year. We're not really that close. I was invited to wedding but couldn't make it.

I was planning on giving £30 cash as a pressie (this was the pressie that guests were asked for). We're not rolling in it at the mo, but I want to give something. Is £30 reasonable? I haven't had much to do with wedding for years so out of touch :)

£20 is reasonable in these circumstances. £30 is more than reasonable.
