AIBU to think Always don't actually employ women in their marketing & design teams

Am currently dealing with a runny fanny (thanks perimenopause), so to maintain dignity at work in my non-black trousers am using panty liners. Annoyingly, I've managed to pick up a scented variety, which I didn't realise until I got a waft of sickly scent from my damp crotch.

Persevering with them (I got a giant value pack and I hate throwing things away), even though it's making all my trousers stink so I'm washing them MORE often than normal. But I've just had a mortifying realisation - the scent is the same one used in the sodding cat litter! Going to have to make a lunchtime run to the shops aren't I?

The whole scented sanitary protection thing is bad enough (wet does not equal smelly) without it giving people subconscious association with picking up cat shit. AIBU to wonder who actually thinks women want to smell like this?

Bodyform are great - unscented as everyone has said, and also come with plastic wrappers that seal up properly all the way round the edge for disposal. They're the only ones my DDs will use.

What is it with these threads? A guy must have designed these etc....
No, some women like the scented variety! I know it pains some of you, but it's true Grin

I've never got an infection from the scented ones nor had trouble finding unscented ones.
I was wondering if it was an area thing but when visting a friend and my mother and going to the shops by them, i didn't have trouble either.

I like them.

I've got an unfeasibly good sense of smell (started during first pregnancy, never left) but even I couldn't tell when a woman was on her period before. Until now Hmm.

It is possible to find the unscented ones, you just need to buy supermarket or Boots own brand ones. I like the Boots night time ones and they're often on special offer.

The scented ones feel awful as well as smell like pot pourii 😕 I'm currently sitting here with a period from hell but luckily discovered lillets pads which are unscented!

I've started an 'official' moan thread about this on Site Stuff, if you haven't already signed in please do! If only to have a chortle at whatever twaddle Proctor and Gamble come back to me with when they reply to my email...

It's this one.
