Practical as well as deserved.

85 years will be costly but it would ensure no reoffending.
Could the UK now introduce massive (public safety) sentences as standard?

Has the costs of longer imprisonment vs reoffending ever been compared (purely the financial costs not emotional) and what would the downside be?

Oh I wish I hadn't clicked that link. I feel sick. I don't quite get 570 years prison sentences, but at least it means he won't ever be released.

We have life sentences, which can come with a whole life tarriff. We don't need to have courts passing sentences which just make them look stupid.

legotits · 30/06/2016 09:42

That is my thinking too Shoe that sicko doesn't need to come out again so why release him?

Is it so cost prohibited to keep people on these big sentences?

Could we use them more though MrsB?

The lost prophet guy could be out in 20 years and we know what he did, why let him out?
