Facebook selling pages

I joined a few FB selling pages because I love the glittery FB shite thread(s) in here and wanted in on the action.

But one of the ones I joined is clearly being used by a number of people to offload stolen goods. Back of a lorry stuff. Random selections of sports clothes in various sizes in transport / bulk packaging etc.

Has anybody else seen anything like that? Has anybody ever reported it to the Police?

Sorry, my AIBU is really: AIBU to think I should probably report this to the Police?

Yeah you could. Just email your local station and get them to investigate. I reported something suspicious once and they were pretty helpful.

I think you should report it as a pp said.

I once saw a buggy for sale on one of my local ones. It was the same as mine and I thought it was strange because it comes as a complete travel system but was being sold without the carrycot and all the accessories. The actual owner suddenly popped up on the thread - it had been stolen from her car earlier that day! If I was her though I'd have asked to buy it and then told the police the address.

It's probably fake stuff. Loads on mine.

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 29/06/2016 23:01

horsemad may have a point. They're quite blatant about the counterfeits on the local groups here. Some sellers even tell you when they're off up to Manchester to go to the warehouses. They regularly take orders for stuff to bring back.

I did see that thread, Faster, and loved it.

But isn't it somewhere between a snake and a mongoose? And a panther.
