So miserable, so worried about our youngsters.

I don't want our youngsters to go through what I know we are going to have to put up with. I begged our grandchildren to vote or else those old Mail/Sun readers would scupper their opportunities. The young generation won't forgive us.

Yeah, because life's great for young people in every other EU country. Spain anyone?

An opinion.
I don't know your grandchildren so this is not personal, it is a generalisation, but the reason so many employers give for employing EU migrants is that they are punctual, reliable, committed and hard-working, which is not their experience of British workers. (They can also pay them less, I am aware.)
Many of the younger generation do need to improve their attitude to work, both at school (personal experience) and in employment (responses elicited from canvassing).

I voted leave for my children.

LuckyBitches · 24/06/2016 10:21

I voted stay for my children.

Goblin, I know what you are saying but my eldest grandchild has worked hard to set up a business which is at the moment doing well but for how long? His brother has worked his butt off to achieve good grades to study economics at university. Both of them have managed part time work at the same time which involves all kinds of hours. I consider what has happened to represent the worst happening since the start of the Second World War. Unlike that event we have done it to ourselves.
