I'm going to have a small day case procedure in hospital tomorrow. It will be under general anesthetic. The cut off for starting to fast in preparation is midnight. AIBU to eat everything I can until the last possible second? Grin

Order takeaway

I literally live in the middle of nowhere. It's not possible to get any more rural than I am without living on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic not bitter so no takeaway I'm afraid. I will however be eating a burger, munching through my body weight in pistachios and topping it off with some 85% dark chocolate.

Unless you've got a perfectly behaved bowel do not be tempted to fill up too much that whilst under anaesthetic the unthinkable happens...

redpriestandmozart · 19/06/2016 19:00

and you're going to have to poop it all out before your procedure! Eat light.. that's what I'd do. Good luck for your appointment :)

And don't forget to drink your body weight in water too.
