The sky engineer won't be able to do anything except give you a new router, which will improve it slightly but not massively.

BT is responsible for everything from your master socket backwards and that's where the problem is. You'd be better talking to BT though they might not be able to do anything either.

I worked for sky and agree with a PP. The sky engineer won't be able to do much as it is all run through openreach. I would call them back and demand an openreach engineer instead.
