I have done something to my knee/leg which has left me up most of the night in pain and unable to put a lot of weight on it. I'm 18 weeks pregnant so can't load up on painkillers like I normally would.
I've absolutely no idea what I've done, the pain is burning from my knee to ankle.

I've never been to an out of hours service, we have a minor injuries nearby, is it worth going? Or should I man up and wait til I can see a GP (and hope it stops in the meantime...)

where abouts is the pain in your leg? is it in the calf?

ChristmasAccountant · 04/06/2016 11:24

It's more just below my knee, although my calf is sore. Pain on extending/bending etc. This is all new to me!

I do wonder whether it might be sensible to go to a&e instead, just because of the possibility of a dvt. They honestly wouldn't mind you going in those circs if you can't remember injuring it. OOH wouldn't be able to scan or do a blood test for that.

I'm not normally one to suggest a&e if that helps your decision.
