I don't really talk about money to anyone in real life, other than my DM and DP.

I'm being nosy, I know but a few numbers aren't going to out me!

I get paid on Friday so I currently I have £5.54 in my account and £15k locked away in ISA's and Bonds.

How much do you have in the bank?

Dont know knows very well but sticks head in sand

FlowerOfTheWest · 01/06/2016 19:10

A few hundred in my current account, just over a grand in savings which is not enough to bankroll the 2 holidays I want to take this year so choices will have to be made. I am well aware of how fortunate I am to be able to afford holidays at all.

startwig1982 · 01/06/2016 19:19

£105000 in my current account Blushwhich is inheritance sitting while I decide where to put it.
£1000 in joint
£15k in shares etc
£10k in isas

We've been saving quite hard the last few years but are now able to pay off the mortgage so we'll be able to save what we put on out mortgage.

Scribblegirl · 01/06/2016 19:22

£500 in my current account
£5k in my savings
£5k in the joint account
£25k in the joint savings
DP has about £1500 in his current account and about £5k in his savings.

However.... we are about to exchange on a flat. Flat will wipe out the joint account and the stamp duty will wipe most of my savings. Renovating will wipe DP's savings and we both have £6k of credit card debt on interest free cards between us!

So on balance we have about £500 Grin

Fancymarmite · 01/06/2016 19:30

£1200 in current account
£2200 in savings account
£18500 in an ISA

Our 4 children have about £3000 each in savings accounts

This is after saving for 15 years with a joint income of around £40000

MatildaTheCat · 01/06/2016 19:33

Nobody else got Premium bonds? It's the draw tomorrow so fully expecting to be a millionaire by morning. Grin

so far only won a max of £50 so it's bound to be my turn.

HappiestMummyAlive · 01/06/2016 19:34

£309,721 in my savers account which I do dip into sometimes. I'm nearly approaching 28 this is all savings from when I was a child given to me by my father and grand father.

And my two children have 50k in theirs they can decide what they want to do with it when they reach 18.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 01/06/2016 19:37

Used to have a lot.... Now bought a house, a car, booked two holidays, and had electrics, plumbing, carpentry etc done... Now have not a lot.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 01/06/2016 19:38

I was going to say easy come easy go... But it's just easy go really isn't it Hmm

Junosmum · 01/06/2016 19:42

Me, about £65 after you take out the money just about to go out on bills, £1600 in the joint account, £3000 in my ISA, £500 in the account I have for DSs savings, £400 in my car account and £300 in my rainy day fund.

DS has 5k in his ISA and around £250 in his personal account.

So about £11k to in total. Sounds like quite a lot but I'm on mat leave and by the time I go back to work almost half will have gone on living expenses.

Arrowfanatic · 01/06/2016 19:44

£167 in current account but still have a £66 bill to come out.

£500 in savings but getting our bathroom done next week so that'll be gone.

Payday is 10th June and I'm eagerly awaiting it. It's felt like a really long month because we've had so much to pay for our usual spending money was next to nothing.

ilovesprouts · 01/06/2016 19:48

At the moment 11k,waiting to get compo from an accident I had in 2013 Sad

Flashbangandgone · 01/06/2016 19:53

Wtf is the point of this aibu thread?... It seems mainly for people to boast about how many £000s they have in their many and various accounts!

Interesting to see the contrast between this and those with a few pounds and no overdraft!

Querty12345 · 01/06/2016 19:58

Flash I agree but didn't want to say, talking about money is really rude. Like the 'how much did your engagement ring cost' Hmm

Fishcake72 · 01/06/2016 19:59

Around -£1300 Confused

Mycatsabastard · 01/06/2016 20:02

Quite alot in savings but not enough for us to buy a house.

I have about £1k in my current account. Dp has about the same as just paid a load of bills.

DD1 has about £5k she's saved up and DD2 has about £1k.

byjimminey · 01/06/2016 20:03

These threads make me feel quite ill. I have about £250. No savings. No nice inheritance coming my way. I work full time too. No property or nice things stashed away.I private rent so that's where all my money goes.

No one is boasting, money is not everything, I was extremely unhappy until I had children, it's just a few numbers in a bank account.

AdrenalineFudge · 01/06/2016 20:05

About 250k in savings spread across accounts and £60 in current account Grin

I've got about 8 months (net) salary in my current account and about half that again less in savings/ISA/Premium Bonds.
