I don't really talk about money to anyone in real life, other than my DM and DP.

I'm being nosy, I know but a few numbers aren't going to out me!

I get paid on Friday so I currently I have £5.54 in my account and £15k locked away in ISA's and Bonds.

How much do you have in the bank?

Loads :) but we're about to buy a house so not for long

InanimateCarbonRod · 01/06/2016 13:48

We've got about 2k in our working account. I've got 1300 in my own account and 15k in stocks and bonds. Not sure what DH has in his own account.

BMW6 · 01/06/2016 13:49

Nearly 40k altogether

teacher54321 · 01/06/2016 13:50

About 3 grand across various accounts... Dh about the same.

Flumplet · 01/06/2016 13:50

Nearly £300 in one account waiting for bills to go out, about £120 in another account to last me until end of June.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 01/06/2016 13:51

More than £50k but doing an extension so about half of that is going to go!

LittleMachine · 01/06/2016 13:51

-£22 Hmm

Flumplet · 01/06/2016 13:51

I don't have any in my own savings but we do have a shared account with nearly £30k in it saved for a deposit on a new house.

thecatsarecrazy · 01/06/2016 13:52

I have about 7 grand in savings but only £19 until I get paid on Friday. But I only work part time so that will be about £120

tibbawyrots · 01/06/2016 13:53

About 7k I could access immediately, 25k in shares/investments.

DontOpenDeadInside · 01/06/2016 13:53

£30 in mine -£2000 in DPS Blush and £169 in joint.
How I wish I had £40k Envy

Salene · 01/06/2016 13:54

2k in husbands account, £500 in my account, £20000 in joint account earning 3% as Santander 123
£20000 in 123 account in my name, £20000 in 123 in husbands name. £38000 in husbands savings account . £70000 in investment account.

That said we away to get hit with our 2nd £35000 tax bill this year from Hmrc for taxes to be paid on account as husband works international so that will eat a fair bit of savings, just spent £16000 last month on a new car too as our 55 plate Renault had seen better days.

chelle792 · 01/06/2016 13:55

Wow! Some of you guys are good at saving! I have about £600 waiting to go on bills and about £120 spending money (including for food and petrol). Also have about £300 savings in my ISA that I'm hoping to keep hold of until baby arrives

duckyneedsaclean · 01/06/2016 13:55

-£663.

Then credit cards on top.

Silvertap · 01/06/2016 13:58

£1300 in joint acc
£500 in my acc
£4K in personal isa

Most of our Savins are in our business & property

AyeAmarok · 01/06/2016 13:58

£1840 in my day to day account. I get paid in a few days too, yeeha.

But I'm about to pay for an upcoming big holiday so it'll be gone soon.

Savings are separate and not touched.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 01/06/2016 13:59

A lot, but only because we are buying a house. Usually I have about £4.92 by the time payday rolls around!

GinIsIn · 01/06/2016 14:00

Languishing in my overdraft, but plenty of space left in that, mercifully. DH is the same, and there's about £1k in our joint savings, and then about £500k tied up in a very complicated trust that I can't access without jumping through more hoops than a tin of Heinz.

So we won't die destitute but aren't cash rich at the moment!

gadget1974 · 01/06/2016 14:01

Around 50k in savings, 25k in Accessible shares with another 25k tied up in long term investments

Zoomtothespoon · 01/06/2016 14:01

About £3600 locked in savings, £800 in a saving account I can access instantly, and about £140 in my current account until some clients settle their invoices!

NoCakeLeft · 01/06/2016 14:03

£19
Tomorrow Sky DD is going out, so it will be -21. Confused

DiggersRest · 01/06/2016 14:04

I'd say if this was in chat and going to disappear. But we've got a years salary in ISA, a smallish savings account and around £1500 in every day account.

TheGonnagle · 01/06/2016 14:05

About £1.6k in the isa, £1.6k elsewhere.

Savagebeauty · 01/06/2016 14:06

I've just sold a house so have got a lot Grin

specialsubject · 01/06/2016 14:07

Those of you with cash ISA's - think hard. You have a personal savings allowance of tax free interest. You can get much better (relatively... ) rates in taxable current accounts and monthly savers.
